Well, today’s daily prompt is making me hungry! You would be too if you can actually imagine my written take on spicy food!
Do you love hot and spicy foods or do you avoid them for fear of what tomorrow might bring? Bring it on! I challenge the spice! The best ones (in no particular order) are prevalent in the following dishes/cuisines: – Thai: Green curries. Slightly acidic and a little fishy, best served with a few shrimps, chicken and a loaf excellent baguette. – Singaporean: Laksa Lemak. Rich in coconut broth and also fish based, always a pleasure to slurp noisily (company dependent) with the appropriate noodles and shrimps swimming in the soup. – Indian: Cari Masala/Curry Masala (high preference for Mauritian …
You have no idea how long I played with the fonts prior to finalizing to what I’m using now! It’s frustrating when you don’t get the feel you actually want, but once you’ve got that nail hit, it’s like an explosion of rainbow euphoria bursting from the side seams and wanting to spread this ecstasy! Okay, I think that was the last of the jitter drug spazzing my noddle gears.
It’s already past 4am. Other blog’s official launch is in less than 6 days. So, again…this will have to wait boys and girls! Note: The coffee I took at 5pm close to 12 hours earlier sure is flexing its magical side-effects!
I made my blogroll! I have yet to think of a category for some of the other blogs that are worth adding, but that will have to come later as I may start thinking of terribly inappropriate names that could be borderline Oatmeal in a bad mood. I’ve added the Zero to Hero Blogging University image as my way of expressing that I’m pledging to becoming a better blogger. I feel so accomplished! As always, looking forward to dressing it up even further while I’m concentrating on the main blog in the meantime before release.
Are you a night owl or are you the early bird? What’s your most productive time of day? When do you do your best work? My hours of alertness actually start at around 17:00, precisely the time when one has just finished their afternoon tea. There is a sense of seduction that the night has to offer: the moments of peace when all has gone to bed, the solitude, the hidden creatures that beckon my mind. 1 o’clock: Only my wine and Laura Fygi for company. The start of a new creative adventure over candlelight. 2 o’clock: New possibilities happen. …
I’ve made a text widget for my “elevator pitch”. (You’re looking at it to the right side!) It’s not perfect, and I should at least try to be amusing, but I know for sure that this will be good enough until my About page is finally up and running. Scribbled image to come soon!
